Ben Carson went on “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos to clarify his comment that had we been independent, the moderate Arab governments would have just turned over Osama Bin Laden.

Hmmm. I’m not sure that’s right. While they would certainly have faced pressure from low oil prices, that doesn’t mean they’d be any more willing, or able, to turn over Osama.
He also doubted whether el Trump had been actually blaming George Bush for 9/11. Again, the comments were made in the context of how politicians are incompetent, so it’s hard to see how he wasn’t blaming Dubya.
