President Trump declared the Second Amendment is “under very serious attack” in Virginia ahead of gun-rights rally
President Trump on Friday declared the Second Amendment is “under very serious attack” in Virginia amid a contentious gun debate in the commonwealth and ahead of a controversial gun-rights rally in Richmond on Monday.
“Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia,” the president tweeted.
Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!

“That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away.” Yup! I hope he’s right about Republicans taking back the state in 2020, but I’m not holding my breath.
Trump also hit back at Iran’s Supreme Leader for comments he made last night calling Trump a “clown” and saying that the Iranian people “push a poisonous dagger” in his back or something:

I snickered when I read “who has not been so Supreme lately”. Trump will be Trump. The so-called “Supreme Leader” of Iran, who has not been so Supreme lately, had some nasty things to say about the United States and Europe. Their economy is crashing, and their people are suffering. He should be very careful with his words!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 17, 2020
