Judge Jeanine: What would you buy President Trump, Speaker Pelosi for Christmas?

“This is unprecedented.” That’s what President Donald Trump says in a Christmas letter, shared on social media late Friday, addressed to “To The Extraordinary Men and Women of the United States Military.”
In that letter, the President first explains that our military is more powerful than ever before, and praises the sacrifices and allegiance of the men and women who comprise our Armed Forces. That is why, he writes, “my Administration overcame decades of inaction and gridlock to get this bill to my desk and to deliver these real results for you and your loved ones.”
And it’s a pretty darn good one.
“Starting January 1, 2020, each service member will see their PAY INCREASE by 3.1 percent–the largest raise for our Military in more than 10 years. While previous administrations allowed Military pay to stagnate, my Administration has secured pay raises for our Troops in each of the past 3 years–every dyear of my Presidency. This is unprecedented. But when it comes to supporting our heroes in uniform, no measure can ever convey the depth of our gratitude or the extent of our obligation,” the letter says.
“This new law also continues my Administration’s unwavering support for Gold Star Families by repealing the so-called ‘Widow’s Tax,’ which wrongly prevented certain Military spouses from receiving the full benefits earned by their beloved deceased partners,” it continues. That’s something he addressed specifically on Twitter as well.
Here are the tweets, sent late Friday night.

Congratulations to the American military, and to President Trump. And
Merry Christmas.
