The woman told Scott "you should be ashamed to show your face around here," according to video of the run-in posted online by WFTS.
“You cut Medicaid, so I couldn’t get Obamacare! You're an asshole!" the woman, identified by the news station as Cara Jennings, shouted at the governor. "You don’t care about working people. You should be ashamed to show your face around here.”
Scott can be heard responding with his oft-repeated line about how he's created "a million jobs" as governor.
“A million jobs? Great, who here has a great job?” Jennings says in the video, gesturing around the Starbucks.
She went on: "You stripped women of access to public healthcare. Shame on you, Rick Scott! We depend on those services. Rich people don't know what to do! When poor people like us need services, you cut them. Shame on you, Rick Scott! You're an embarrassment to our state!"
Scott and his entourage hustled out of the store without coffee in hand.

That's how effective a First Amendment solution to oppressive gummint can be if you do it right. You can go to a country club and tell everyone government's not the answer but Cara knows better than that. Good jobs that solve all your problems aren't just lying around in the street, and anyone whose situation with skills, experience, age, race, gender, or any other factor is working against them in the market, anyone in a depressed industry or area, any one of millions of struggling people certainly know better too. Scott better get a coffee machine for his office, I think.
